The ROOTS® RAS Series vacuum blower incorporates water injection to help reach higher vacuum levels, while WHISPAIR™ technology reduces operational noise and mitigates pressure pulsations for smoother performance.

• Robust Build Quality: The ROOTS® RAS-VJ is constructed with grey iron components including the headplates, gear cover, drive end cover, and solid casing. Carburized alloy steel spur gears are taper-mounted and locked securely with a nut for long-lasting reliability. Cylindrical roller bearings contribute to dependable operation under continuous use.
• Reliable Sealing System: Piston rings and lip-type oil seals help reduce internal leakage and ensure oil remains outside the air chamber, while the hydrodynamic shaft seal on the drive side adds an extra layer of protection.
• Lubrication Efficiency: The blower’s internal gears and bearings are splash-lubricated at both ends, ensuring smooth and steady performance with minimal maintenance.
• Flexible Drive Setup: The top shaft can be used for side outlet drives, while either the left or right shaft may be extended for drives on bottom outlet vacuum systems.
• Integrated Water Injection: A built-in spray nozzle and flow meter enable water injection at the inlet, boosting vacuum efficiency and cooling performance.
• Warranty Protection: Covered under a 12-month warranty from the date of startup or 18 months from the original shipping date—whichever comes first.
